KELLY'S POST: "Today's music ain't got the same soul, I like that old time rock 'n' roll" Bob Seeger-Old Time Rock and Roll
This post may not be fashion related, but record albums are pretty cool too right? Well I think so, and I am here to procliam my love for vinyl. My collection has been growing fast for the past year or so, when I got my first record player for Christmas. I now have about 50 records and the collection is only growing. The sacred ritual of buying a record goes a little something like this: you enter the record store and the overpowering smell of must, mold, and all things old hits you like a brick. Then its time to sort through hundreds and hundreds of records checking for record quality, the beauty of the album art, and what songs are actually on the album. After choosing said albums and bringing them home, it's time for the moment of truth: you put the record on the player, move the needle over, hear the first sounds of hissing and crackling as the needle finds the groove, then BAM: sonic bliss!
